Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Big Box Removal Associate in Anderson, SC for a full-time hourly role. You will help customers locate items, ensure smooth auctions, and assist with larger items. The team provides friendly service and meets daily operational needs.

Responsibilities include item categorization, guiding customers, and completing tasks assigned by management; lifting up to 25 lbs alone and more with a team; on-site Monday through Friday shifts.

Qualifications

• On-site work required Monday through Friday.
• Shifts: Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00–6:30; Tue/Thu 12:00–8:30.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone; 50+ with team.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Know how auction items are categorized.
• Assist customers in finding their items.
• Make customers glad they have won an item to encourage bidding.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

BIG BOX REMOVAL ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Removal Team assists customers with finding their items. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized
• Assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM , 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds or more with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
