Job summary

MAC.BID is hiring a Big Box Scan Associate in Anderson, SC to scan large items, search products online, and create accurate online auction listings. You will take photos, crop images, and ensure information is correct for each item while meeting daily quantity and quality goals.

The role is on-site, Monday through Friday, with a full 8-hour shift and a 30-minute lunch break. The position requires being able to lift up to 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with team lift, and standing/walking for

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management

BIG BOX SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
