Job summary

MAC.BID in Anderson, SC is seeking a Scanner Associate to help inventory and list items for online auctions. You will use proprietary software to scan and upload product information with accuracy, reporting to the Scan Team Lead.

The role is full-time and on-site, with a fixed 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule. You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs with a team and stand/walk for long periods; basic tech skills are required. Benefits are available after milestones.

Qualifications

• Must work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM–4:30PM with an 8-hour shift and 30-minute lunch.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone and 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time.
• Must be tech-savvy and follow written directions and company policies.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Scan items quickly into the system to create online auction listings.
• Search products online.
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings.
• Correct and complete information for each item.
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals.
• Other tasks as assigned by management.

SCANNER ASSOCIATE

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. This position reports to the Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan items quickly and thoroughly into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Screenshot and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete information for each item
• Responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
