Job summary

MAC.BID is seeking a Big Box Scan Team member in Canton, Ohio. The role involves scanning large, heavy items into the auction system and creating listings, as well as searching products online and cropping photos for listings.

This on-site position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead. You will be expected to meet quantity and quality goals, follow written directions and company policies, and work Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with on-site duties including lifting up to 25 pounds (50 with a team).

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site. Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift.
• Must be tech-savvy.
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
