Job summary

MAC.BID, located in Anderson, SC, is seeking a full-time hourly on-site team member for the Big Box Removal Team. You will help customers locate items, ensure satisfaction after winning bids, and support operations on a daily basis.

The role requires lifting up to 25 pounds solo and 50 pounds with a team, following written directions, and staying highly organized with attention to detail. Shift schedule runs Monday through Friday with varying start times, and benefits follow after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Shift times: Mon/Wed/Fri 10:00–6:30, Tue/Thu 12:00–8:30.
• Must lift 25 lb alone, 50 lb with team.
• Must follow written directions and company policies.
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be customer-focused.

Responsibilities

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Removal Team assists customers with finding their items. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized
• Assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM , 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds or more with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
