Job summary

MAC.BID in Anderson, SC is seeking a Scanline Floater to support the scan team by preparing and positioning products and removing scanned items for the next step.

You will inspect inbound products, categorize condition, test basic electronics, and move items to bays and conveyors while following company policies.

This on-site, full-time hourly role requires lifting up to 25 pounds solo and 50 with a team, standing for long periods, and a High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday–Friday 8:00AM–4:30PM.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs alone, 50 lbs with team.
• Must be tech-savvy and able to stand for hours.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

SCANLINE FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Scanline Floater prepares and positions products for the scan team, as well as removes scanned products and puts them away according to our system. This position reports to the Scan or Mobile Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect inbound products for obvious defects
• Categorize each product as Like New, Open Box, or Damaged
• Test electronics at a basic level to assess general condition
• Move products to the conveyor for the scanners to process
• Remove the scanned product from the scanning area quickly
• Move products to the bays, putting them on the shelves according to auction and lot number
• Be responsible for helping the team meet quantity and quality goals
• Sweep and remove trash from empty bays and mobile scan area
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be tech-savvy
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
