Job summary

MAC.BID in Anderson, SC is seeking an on-site Big Box Scan Team associate to create online auction listings by scanning, photographing, and verifying item data.

You will lift heavy items, follow a steady 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule, and meet quality targets. The role is non-exempt with weekly pay and benefits. Training and proprietary software support are provided.

Qualifications

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PM, 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to stand and walk for hours at a time
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Big Box Scan Team uses proprietary software to scan and upload product information into the auction portal with accuracy. The Big Box Team deals with larger items. This position reports to the Big Box Scan Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Scan large, unwieldy, and heavy items into the system to create online auction listings
• Search products online
• Take and crop photos for online listings
• Correct and complete auto-pulled information for each item
• Be responsible for meeting quantity and quality goals
• Perform any other tasks as assigned by management
