Job summary

At Home Group Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager – Merchandising to support the Store Manager in leading merchandising, store conditioning, and team functions within a large-format At Home store.

This role focuses on driving store performance, maintaining in-stock conditions, and delivering an exceptional experience for customers and Team Members. You will lead and develop the Zone Lead team, foster collaboration, and ensure a safe, organized, and high-performing store environment while

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant leadership experience in big-box or high-volume retail.

Responsibilities

• Drive execution of store operations to achieve sales, profit, and performance goals while delivering a engaging, customer-focused shopping experience.
• Attract, hire, and develop talent; build internal bench strength and effective succession plans.
• Coach and develop the team to improve performance and support internal career growth.
• Support staffing to labor model, scheduling, and payroll accuracy while using financial/operational metrics to drive sales and control expenses.
• Plan, prioritize, and oversee merchandising, including transitions, resets, product changes, and maintaining visual integrity and store cleanliness.
• Lead efforts in customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrinkage, safety, loss prevention, and store effectiveness.
• Communicate with Team Members through regular huddles and meetings.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
