Job summary

At Home Group Inc. in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is seeking an Assistant Store Manager – Merchandising to support the Store Manager in leading merchandising, store conditioning, and team functions within a large-format store.

You will drive store performance by executing merchandising strategies, maintaining in-stock conditions, and delivering an exceptional experience for customers and Team Members. The role leads the Zone Lead team and focuses on coaching, processes, and a safe, high-performing

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a big-box/high-volume retail
• Experience managing $5M+ annual revenue/budget
• Knowledge of freight, inventory, stocking and merchandising
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and scheduling/HRIS systems
• Strong communication, integrity, and team-building skills

Responsibilities

• Drive store operations to meet sales, profit and performance goals
• Attract, hire, and develop talent with succession planning
• Coach and develop staff; support internal career growth
• Plan staffing to labor model and payroll accuracy; manage expenses
• Oversee merchandising, transitions, resets, and visual standards
• Maintain organized sign storage, signage, and fixtures
• Lead customer satisfaction, inventory control, safety, and loss prevention
• Model At Home values and lead team communications through huddles
