Job summary

Columbia River Plumbing is seeking a Sales Rep to own the administrative backbone of our bid and sales pipeline, from lead tracking through bid folder creation, quote requests, and post-award follow-up. This role removes administrative tasks from estimating and sales to accelerate revenue generation.

You will work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced office, keeping bids, quotes, and follow-ups organized and on schedule; success means having bid folders ready within 24 hours and maintaining

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework in business administration is a plus.
• 1-2+ years in sales support, coordination, estimating support, or admin role, preferably in construction or plumbing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel) required; familiarity with estimating or plan-reading is a plus.
• Construction or plumbing knowledge is a strong plus, though not required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Create and organize bid folders within 24 hours of a lead or opportunity.
• Track and follow up on all active leads, completing pre/post-bid follow-up within 24 hours.
• Request and log vendor quotes to support estimating.
• Maintain bid binder and folder process with clear status for every opportunity.
• Manage close-out process for won bids; ensure contracts and documents are filed.
