Job summary

CoVolt Power seeks a remote Preconstruction Pursuit Manager to lead all pre-award activities for solar EPC pursuits, shaping strategy, coordinating teams, assessing risks, and delivering competitive bids from RFP receipt through award.

You will collaborate with Business Development, Engineering, Estimating, Operations, and Leadership to drive win strategy, manage risk, and ensure timely, compliant proposals. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, business, or related field.
Strong understanding of EPC contracts and risk allocation.
Experience leading complex proposals or pursuits in construction or energy infrastructure.
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
Utility-scale solar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead Pursuit & Strategy from RFP release through award, aligning with win strategy and risk posture.
Coordinate input from Engineering, Estimating, Scheduling, Preconstruction, Procurement, and Operations to ensure scope, cost, and schedule alignment.
Own all proposal deliverables with full compliance, ensuring clear, professional content and on-time submission.
Transition to Post-Award by handing off bid assumptions, risk registers, and schedule/execution plans.
