Primergy is seeking a Preconstruction Manager to lead day-to-day deliverables that support our solar PV and BESS development pipeline. You will own capex estimating, EPC pricing, bid analysis, and risk registries, coordinating with development, engineering, procurement, interconnection, permitting, and execution teams to de-risk projects before NTP.

The ideal candidate is analytically sharp, an effective communicator, and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced, remote environment

Qualifications

• 10+ years in US power markets, origination or development
• 8+ years in construction or development; 4+ years in preconstruction for utility-scale solar PV and BESS
• Capex estimating, constructability review, EPC bid analysis on large renewable projects
• Experience across the project lifecycle from early development to NTP
• Familiarity with permitting processes and AHJ requirements
• Experience with federal, state, and local agencies

Responsabilités

• Create and maintain CapEx estimates, OpEx forecasts, cost breakdowns, and spend schedules aligned with milestones
• Document construction risks and assumptions; track through the lifecycle to de-risk prior to NTP
• Identify geotechnical requirements and constructability concerns; capture in risk registries
• Lead EPC bid packages with project information, assumptions, and risks
• Maintain RFI logs and coordinate responses from internal SMEs
• Analyze EPC bids; prepare bid comparison matrices and negotiation materials
• Maintain cost database supporting capex estimates and timelines
• Prepare construction permit lists; flag critical permits to leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and efficiency
