Job summary

SOLV Energy seeks a Preconstruction Project Manager to lead the Preconstruction Group remotely on nationwide solar, storage and high voltage projects, managing scope, budget and schedule from award to mobilization.

You will oversee meetings, procurement, LNTPs and bid processes, and collaborate with engineering, BD, accounting and legal to deliver accurate forecasts and effective risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Field experience in construction projects (5–8 years) and leadership in remote teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Preconstruction Project Engineer activities in a remote setting.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit and evaluate bids.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Define LNTPs and manage procurement to align with scope and schedule.
• Collaborate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal teams.
• Provide regular reporting on cost forecasts and EAC.
• Negotiate final EPC with Operations/Contracts teams.
