Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a Bid Manager to drive profitable growth within assigned markets by delivering responses and compelling proposals to high-priority Bid or RFP prospects. You will manage a sales pipeline, champion standardized bid processes, and leverage automation to improve efficiency across regions.

Responsibilities include leading cross-functional teams, refining templates, and analyzing win/loss data to drive continuous improvement in Bid growth.

Qualifications

• Experience responding to bids and RFPs in the foodservice or related industry.
• Ability to lead cross-functional bid teams and create compelling proposals.
• Strong forecasting, planning and analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities and maintain a pipeline of RFP/Bid proposals.
• Engage regional bid teams to understand pipeline, capacity, and market share.
• Develop proposal strategies with cross-functional teams to align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with sales leaders to refine bid processes and templates.
• Track bid performance, analyze win/loss data, and communicate learnings to leadership.
• Educate and train new team members on response development and engagement.
• Research target markets, competitors, industry trends, and demographics.
