Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking a Bid Coordinator to enter data, coordinate between customers, vendors, estimators and the outside sales team, and manage bid documentation. The role emphasizes accuracy, calendar management, and collaboration across departments.

The position requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. It offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities within a national electrical distributor

Responsibilities

• Assign jobs in Eclipse to Estimators and track daily workloads.
• Close out all jobs in Eclipse and update records.
• Coordinate with other Bid Coordinators for out-of-territory quotes.
• Maintain effective communication across project teams for bids.
• Field calls from general contractors, customers, and sales reps.
• Maintain filing of project files and manage the email inbox.
• Print and assemble submittals and operation manuals.
• Add customers to bid lists and share contact details with Estimators.
• Assist Estimators in various duties and track bid sheets.
• Enter jobs into the tracking system.
