Mercury Systems is seeking a skilled BGA rework technician to support PCB and PCBA production tasks. You will remove faulty components, clean pads, apply solder paste, and replace components by reflowing solder joints using BGA rework equipment and hand solder tools.

This 2nd shift role requires good hand-eye coordination, the ability to work under a microscope, and adherence to IPC standards. Overtime is available and encouraged to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• On-site soldering assessment to J-STD-001 during interview.
• Meticulous hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity required.
• Ability to work 2nd shift: 2:30 pm–12:00 am.

Responsabilités

• Master the complete BGA rework process including desoldering, cleaning, ball stenciling solder paste, placement and resoldering.
• Interpret job routers, wiring diagrams and schematic drawings for assembly and safe operation of BGA rework equipment.
• Perform inspections to ensure assemblies meet IPC standards.
• Conduct pass downs with outgoing/incoming shifts.
• Interact regularly with Engineering staff.
• Other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
