Why Bally's?

Bally's Corporation is a global casino-entertainment company with a growing omni-channel presence. It owns and manages 15 casinos across 10 states, a golf course in New York, a horse racetrack in Colorado, and has access to OSB licenses in 18 states. The recent acquisition of Aspers Casino in Newcastle, UK, expands its international footprint and enhances its diverse entertainment offerings. With 10,600 employees, Bally's casino operations include approximately 15,300 slot machines, 580 table games, and 3,800 hotel rooms. The company has rights to develop land in Las Vegas after the Tropicana's closure.

Upon completing the merger with The Queen Casino & Entertainment Inc. ('Queen'), Bally's portfolio will expand to include four additional casinos across three states, including an expansion into Iowa. Queen will add over 900 employees, with existing operations featuring about 2,400 slot machines, 50 table games, and 150 hotel rooms. Bally's will also gain a significant stake in a global lottery management and services business through its investment in Intralot S.A.

The Role:

Supports the daily operation of the Team Canteen, ensuring high-quality service for Team Members and guests, providing a safe and pleasant dining environment in a high-volume restaurant.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Supervise restaurant Line Servers and Bus Persons.
  2. Perform supervisory duties in accordance with Bally's policies and applicable laws.
  3. Assign and direct work, evaluate performance, provide coaching, and resolve issues.
  4. Assist in supervising all Team Members following company policies.
  5. Maintain staffing schedules aligned with business needs.
  6. Anticipate and fulfill Team Members' needs.
  7. Maintain accurate shift reports and communicate with management.
  8. Develop incentive programs to motivate Team Members.
  9. Assign side duties and ensure their completion.
  10. Conduct pre-shift meetings to inform staff of business needs.
  11. Foster a harmonious working environment and communicate feedback effectively.
  12. Interact professionally with Team Members and guests.
  13. Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the Canteen.
  14. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.

Experience: 1-3 years in a supervisory Food & Beverage role in a hotel restaurant preferred; high school diploma or GED required.

Licenses & Certifications: LA Alc Compliance Trainer and Alc. Beverage Operator required.
