Job summary

Canopy by Hilton is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor in Dallas to assist the F&B Manager in delivering top-quality service while managing payroll and overhead costs. You will also focus on driving F&B sales revenue and ensuring standards across the department.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or related field, fluency in English, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will help with staff schedules, inventories, and promoting sales initiatives.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or related field.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• College coursework helpful.
• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• Must be fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Operational knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate the ability to multi-task, be detail-oriented, and be able to problem solve.
• Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.

Responsibilities

• Approach all encounters with guests and associates with a smile.
• Assist Food and Beverage Manager in maintaining food and beverage costs.
• Maintain service standards throughout the department by using such quality control instruments as Standard of the Week and coaching sessions.
• Immediately follow up on accidents problems or guest complaints in the Food and Beverage Department.
• Monitor and follow up on all servers' cash overages and shortages.
• Maintain proper consistent disciplinary actions for all Food and Beverage employees.
• Be familiar with P.O.S. system used in the hotel.
• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in wage progress and productivity reports for Food and Beverage Department.
• Assist in preparation of staff schedules according to forecast.
• Assist in monthly food and beverage inventories and reconciliations.
• Ensure all side work duties are completed by servers.
• Assist Food and Beverage Manager in developing promotional ideas.
• Initiate and promote sales efforts for all service personnel.
• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager in preparing for and conducting employee performance appraisals.
• Assist the Food and Beverage Manager and Food Production Manager in maintaining and improving the quality and presentation of all food products.
• Perform any other duties as requested by management.
