Responsibilities include greeting guests, taking orders, coordinating with bartenders, maintaining clean workstations, proper alcohol service, and handling cash accurately in a fast-paced environment. Must stand for shift and meet Serv-Safe and racing license requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months experience in a related field preferred.
• Must obtain and maintain a Serv-Safe certificate.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid racing license.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests warmly on arrival and parting; provides excellent guest service.
• Takes beverage orders and relays to the bartender for timely delivery.
• Demonstrates product knowledge and salesmanship.
• Maintains cleanliness of guest areas and service stations.
• Performs responsible alcohol service, respecting guest limits.
• Restocks supplies and keeps workstations clean and organized.

Job Summary

Responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner to ensure quality guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greets guests on arrival and regards them on departure in a warm and inviting manner.
• Takes beverage orders from guests and relays orders to the bartender to deliver drinks at the guest’s location.
• Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge.
• Maintains cleanliness of guest areas, including removing empty glasses/bottles and cleaning ashtrays.
• Performs responsible alcohol service, respecting guest limitations.
• Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation, restocking supplies as needed.
• Checks supplies and maintains proper set-up and cleanliness of service stations before, during, and after shift.
• Prepares coffee and soft drinks for orders.
• Properly garnishes drinks.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions

• Must stand for the duration of the shift.
• May need to sit or stand; walk; use hands to reach, handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
• May be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Noise level is usually moderate to loud.
• Work environment may vary in levels of crowds, noise, and smoke depending on the assigned station and guest volume.
