Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits in Monument, Colorado, is seeking a Relief Account Manager trainee to support Account Managers, selling and merchandising Eagle Rock products on a defined route. This is a sales trainee position designed to develop skills in field sales and customer partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of product characteristics.
• Ability to distinguish between brands through taste testing/sampling.
• Ability to speak clearly, read, write, and understand the English language.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished inwritten, oral or diagram form.
• Requires the ability to work independently, exercising sound judgement and initiative.
• Ability to deal with problems involving multiple solutions in standardized situations.

Responsibilities

• Solicit products in a defined route area while operating a company vehicle
• Manage, rotate and maintain a neat inventory in each account
• Sell sufficient product inventory to eliminate out-of-stock situations
• Seek and develop positive working relationships with our retail partners
• Identify new opportunities to grow our existing portfolio
• Develop and implement sales promotions to encourage distribution and productgrowth
• Responsible for ensuring marketing and sales support materials are displayed in each retailoutlet
• Secure the best possible selling position for our products (including primary displays,coolers, etc.)
• Place all brand POS materials including neons, glassware, paper goods, and display enhancers in order to establish a
• Conduct special promotions within accounts to increase brands sales
• Call on account to establish sales promotions thru displays and samplings
