Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits in Loveland, CO seeks a Relief Account Manager (sales trainee) to support Account Managers on routes. You will solicit products, manage inventories, and develop relationships with retailers to grow the portfolio.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), valid driver's license, and strong sales, communication, and English skills. In this position you will drive promotions, poster displays, and product growth with a focus on customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong sales and customer service skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to distinguish brands through taste testing/sampling.
• Ability to speak, read, write English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Solicit products in a defined route area while operating a company vehicle.
• Manage, rotate and maintain inventory in each account.
• Sell inventory to eliminate out-of-stock situations.
• Develop positive relationships with retail partners.
• Identify opportunities to grow the portfolio.
• Develop and implement sales promotions to drive distribution.
• Ensure POS materials and displays are in outlets and visible.
• Place brand POS materials to establish best selling positions.
• Conduct promotions and samplings to increase brand sales.
• Call on accounts to establish promotions through displays and samplings.
• Maintain communication with Driver to meet merchandising expectations.
• Operate company vehicle safely and per policy.
• Attend required company meetings.
• Engage in personal growth and development plans.
• Maintain safety and confidentiality of company information.
