Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading family-owned distributor of wine, spirits, and beer, is seeking a highly motivated Sales Consultant In Training to support, service, and maintain retail accounts. This role focuses on stocking shelves, coolers, and building displays while delivering outstanding customer service.

As a Sales Trainee/Merchandiser, you will achieve sales objectives, manage territories, promote current and new products, and conduct in-store tastings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related industry experience (preferred).
• Prior sales experience (preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Goals and results driven attitude."
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of insurance.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Local candidates preferred (no relocation package).

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales objectives and territory management.
• Sell current and new products, promotions, and in-store tastings; service accounts.
• Merchandising duties: shelf placement, maintain cold boxes, build displays, stock inventories.
