Job summary

Columbia Distributing seeks a Sales Rep to grow beverage sales in the Kent area. You will manage accounts, plan territory activity, merchandize and secure new business while supporting existing customers to meet supplier and company objectives.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 2 years beverage sales experience, and a valid driver's license. CSP training and Cicerone certification within 1 year are expected; Bachelor's degree is a plus. Job offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Sales Fundamental (CSP training) required on hire; Cicerone level 1 within one year of start date.
• Minimum two years sales experience in beverage industry; valid driver’s license and auto insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory expenses per policy.
• Interact respectfully and maintain dialogue with inter-company departments, suppliers and customers.
• Support the rotating and merchandising of product.
• Complete all required training to improve performance and effectiveness.
• Maintain knowledge of industry beer, non-alcoholic, food journals, trends, market share, etc.
• Create opportunities and develop programs for customer base.
• Submit all required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, MVPs, expense report, mileage log, etc.
