Job summary

Breakthru Beverage Group in Milwaukee is seeking an Account Development Specialist to lead sales growth for an assigned portfolio within targeted accounts. The role requires spending 80% of working time in market, developing beverage and marketing strategies, and presenting new products during monthly reviews.

You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, drive in-market activations, and collaborate with on-premise and retail teams to grow share and velocity in your category.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and work experience.
• 3–5 years in sales or related industry experience.
• CSS Certification or WSET Spirits level 2; or category certifications (Whiskey, Tequila, Sake or Beer); or wine accreditations (CSW, Level II Court of Master Sommeliers).
• Specialized knowledge of category or responsibility that this role will support.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Proficient PC skills and presentation software.
• Results-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive revenue and market share for assigned portfolio within base, spending 80% of time in market.
• Develop beverage and marketing strategies and plans for growth of assigned category or large supplier.
• Present new products and conduct monthly business reviews.
• Plan high-end consumer activations within key accounts.
• Lead market insights and coordinate with sales teams.
• Attend workshops and build specialized industry knowledge.
