Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Massachusetts and Rhode Island seeks a friendly, energetic Sales Representative for the Worcester MA territory. You will grow market share, promote brands, and expand the customer base by delivering outstanding service to bars, restaurants and liquor stores.

Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, handling inquiries, reviewing credit, and collaborating with Credit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel to meet with customers.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers (bars, restaurants, liquor stores) providing exemplary service.
• Develop, present and promote sales strategies and activities (tastings/demonstrations).
• Answer customers’ questions about products, pricing, availability and uses.
• Review customers’ credit status, collect monies owed and partner with Credit to ensure accounts remain in good standing.
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings and trade events to maintain product and supplier knowledge.
• Utilize MS Office to create sell sheets and sales presentations.
• Maintain knowledge of technology to support selling and supplier strategies.
