Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company in Norton, MA, is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales professional. You will contact existing customers, understand product portfolios, and work to close sales while maintaining strong client relationships.

The role requires 2–5 years of hospitality experience with wine, spirits, and beer knowledge, plus strong typing and MS Word/Excel skills. Compensation includes bonuses and a total earnings target of $55,000–$58,000 annually.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years’ hospitality experience with direct knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
• Patience, persistence and persuasiveness.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
• Fully understand the Southern Glazer's Beverage Company portfolio.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and close sales.
• Build long term trust and relationships.
• Enter and update customer information in the database.
• Contact customers daily and process orders accurately.
• Create and update activity reports of calls and sales.
• Provide back-up support for sales teams during vacations.
• Identify customers’ needs, clarify information, research concerns and provide solutions, cross-sell and up-sell.
• Assist sales reps with will-calls as needed.
