Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company of Massachusetts and Rhode Island is seeking a Customer Service/Inside Sales professional to contact existing customers, explain products, and qualify needs to close sales. The role emphasizes attentive service and accurate order processing.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years in hospitality with knowledge of wine, spirits and beer, plus strong typing and software skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2-5 years’ hospitality experience with direct knowledge of wine, spirits and beer.
• Must be detail-oriented, analytical and deadline-driven with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contact existing customers to inform them about a product or service.
• Fully understand the Southern Glazer's Beverage Company portfolio.
• Ask questions to understand customer needs and close sales.
• Build long-term trust and relationships.
• Enter and update customer information in the database.
• Contact customers daily and process orders accurately.
• Create and update activity reports with records of all calls and sales.
• Provide backup support for sales teams during vacations.
• Identify customer needs, clarify information, research concerns and provide solutions, cross-sell and up-sell.
• Assist sales reps with will-calls as needed.
