Job summary

Silver Eagle Distributors Houston, LLC is seeking a Route Sales Associate to pull routes and merchandise products in accordance with Corporate Merchandising Policy/Handbook. You will support sales goals across accounts and maintain stock levels.

The role requires a valid Texas CDL, reliable vehicle, good communication skills, and the ability to drive routes up to 75 miles. You will alternate between sales support and route execution, with duties including POS placement and pricing adherence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years beverage experience (Direct Store Delivery).
• Good communication skills.
• Able to obtain and maintain Class A-CDL, and medical card.
• Able to handle alcohol and work within TAB C Guidelines.
• Must have a dependable personal vehicle with proof of liability insurance.
• Intermediate computer knowledge in MS Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point. Margin Minder and Mobility knowledge preferred.
• Must have a cell phone with data capability.
• Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and driving record within MVR policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Uses sales tools and training to take adequate inventory and make proper recommendations for each account.
• Close sales solicitations of displays, new products and packages, shelf facings, POS, and price points.
• Follow and enforce supplier contracts and company policies.
• Ensure merchandising of corporate products and restocking to avoid out-of-stock.
• Communicate with Sales personnel to close sales and maintain customer relations.
• Complete administrative duties and verify truck inventory and mobility route book entries.
• Spends majority time filling in for Sales Specialist II and rest of time running Sales Representative route.
• Notify Area Sales Manager of changes in retail trade and route scheduling.
• Other duties as assigned.
