Job summary

Total Wine & More in Virginia is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to grow the brand by delivering best-in-class service and creating a distinctive world of beverages for our customers. You will support store operations and help build a sales and service culture while reporting to the Store Manager.

You will drive sales, recruit and lead the team, manage payroll and inventory, and ensure compliance with alcohol laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of work experience, 2+ years of managerial or supervisory retail experience.
• Experience leading, motivating, and developing a sales-focused team.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and deliver against key performance metrics.
• Assist in recruiting, training, and leading store team and provide ongoing development.
• Support payroll, inventory, merchandising and shrink control.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues.
• Maintain vendor relationships to support store objectives.
• Ensure adherence to laws and safety regulations related to alcohol sale.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
