Job summary

The Summit at Snoqualmie is seeking a Beverage Manager to oversee all beverage operations at the resort, reporting to the Vice President of Food + Beverage. The role emphasizes profitability, compliance, and an exceptional guest experience in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include menu development, inventory control, staff supervision, and promotional events. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in hospitality beverages, strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and cocktails, and a WA MAST permit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Extensive knowledge of beverages, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options.
• Proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must have a WA MAST (alcohol servers permit).

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve beverage menus that align with current trends and guest preferences.
• Collaborate with culinary team on beverages and pairings to drive profit and guest experience.
• Build and maintain supplier partnerships and negotiate contracts for best pricing.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, stocking, and cost control.
• Monitor sales performance and use data to maximize revenue.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and WALCB regulations.
• Plan and execute promotional events to drive beverage sales.
• Coach and develop bar staff for leadership growth.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve concerns promptly.
