Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking a Production Planner to drive efficient production schedules, optimize inventory, and support our manufacturing network across locations. You will balance inventory with warehouse capacity and partner with S&OP, warehouse, and facility teams to meet demand while controlling costs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Supply Chain Management and 3+ years of experience, with ERP systems proficiency (MPS, MRP, DRP) and strong Excel/data skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management with 3+ years of experience.
  • 11 years of supply chain experience without a degree is acceptable.
  • Experience with ERP systems (MPS, MRP, DRP).
  • Advanced Excel skills and data analysis ability.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; collaborative mindset.
  • APICS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain daily and weekly production schedules using JDE planning systems.
  • Balance inventory with warehouse capacity to meet demand while controlling costs.
  • Review sales trends and inventory data to forecast raw material needs.
  • Partner with S&OP, warehouse, and facility teams to align on inventory targets.
  • Track KPIs such as production adherence and yield.
  • Communicate with customer service and facility teams to address issues.
  • Support promotional planning and manage schedule changes proactively.
  • Collaborate across departments to keep operations running efficiently.
  • Travel to other locations for training and development opportunities.
  • Keep safety at the forefront of everything you do.
