Job summary

Polar Beverages in Schenectady, NY is seeking a Production Planner for our on-site facility. The role reports to the Operations Planning/Purchasing Dept. Manager and requires close coordination with multiple teams to maintain production schedules.

The candidate should be proficient in data analysis, reporting, and inventory management, with experience in SAP/Oracle and MS Office. Remote work is not offered, and adherence to site procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare reports and analyze data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with inventory management systems is a plus (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily cycle counts and reconciliation as assigned.
• Daily receiving system input: BPCS input – SAP input – Raw Materials including Extracts and Additives.
• Understand and follow Hold program and procedures, and to ensure substandard materials or finished product are tagged and isolated properly.
• Back up Purchasing/Planning Admin Assistants with ordering Extracts, Additives, and raw materials; check stock levels and place orders.
• Work with SQF Practitioner to update Approved Supplier List and supporting document database.
• Assist operations planning department manager with daily meetings, requests and projects.
