Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach is seeking a full-time Pool/Beach Attendant to join our exciting Recreation/Pool & Beach Team. Don't miss this unique opportunity to be part of our award-winning team, while beginning your career with the world's leading luxury hotel company!

About the role:

This role leads the beverage program and the primary responsibilities for this position are to curate a relevant beverage program and ensure our guests experience the highest level of service that is reflective of a luxurious Four Seasons experience.

What you will do:

Beverage Program Management:

  • Develop and implement innovative beverage programs that reflect current trends, guest preferences, and the resort's luxury standards.
  • Curate and manage a diverse wine list, cocktail menu, and non-alcoholic options that enhance the resort's dining and leisure experiences.
  • Oversee seasonal updates to beverage offerings and ensure consistent quality and creativity.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of beverage managers, bartenders, sommeliers, and support staff.
  • Create an engaging and educational environment, offering training on product knowledge, customer service, and drink preparation.
  • Foster teamwork and promote a positive, high-energy atmosphere that motivates staff to provide outstanding service.

Guest Experience:

  • Maintain the highest standards of guest service, ensuring all beverage-related experiences meet the resort's exceptional standards of quality and luxury.
  • Engage with guests to personalize their beverage experiences, recommend specialty drinks, and handle any feedback or concerns promptly.

Operational Oversight:

  • Manage beverage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient cost control and minimize waste.
  • Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of bars, beverage storage areas, and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and safety regulations related to alcohol service.

Collaboration & Innovation:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and other resort departments to integrate beverages seamlessly into dining experiences.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, and implement innovative beverage concepts to keep the resort's offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Plan and execute special events, tastings, and promotions to enhance guest experiences and drive revenue.

Budget & Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the beverage department's budget, ensuring profitability while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor key performance metrics such as beverage cost percentage, labor costs, and revenue targets to ensure financial objectives are met.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in beverage management, with a proven track record of success in a luxury hotel, resort, or fine dining environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages, with a passion for creating unique guest experiences.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with a collaborative approach.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management abilities.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive revenue.
  • Expertise in mixology, wine pairings, and beverage trends.
  • A dynamic, guest-centric personality with a genuine passion for hospitality and service excellence.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a plus.
  • Certification as a Sommelier or Mixologist is a plus.
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certification (TIPS or equivalent) preferred.

Schedule:

  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work morning/afternoon shifts, weekends, and holidays.
