Food & Beverage Manager

Responsible for managing the restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with service standards, operational procedures, and maximizing profits across hotel outlets. Duties include developing menus, creating food promotions, setting portion specifications, maintaining high service quality, staff supervision, and development. Previous management experience in a restaurant or event venue is preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Review staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial goals
• Identify and address staff development needs through coaching and mentoring
• Set and prioritize goals, organize tasks to achieve them
• Ensure compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards, procedures, and applicable laws, including food safety and sanitation
• Educate staff on local, state, and federal liquor laws
• Provide guidance to team members, including performance standards and monitoring
• Handle guest issues and complaints, delivering excellent customer service
• Engage with guests informally to gather feedback on food, service, and overall satisfaction
• Implement corrective actions to continuously improve service quality

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or F&B Manager
• Strong customer service background in a managerial role
• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage, including ingredients and dishes
• Familiarity with restaurant management software like OpenTable and Toast
• Strong leadership, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Financial management skills
