Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Lead Director of Beverage to drive category growth and profitability. You will lead a team including a Director for Soda and two analysts, shaping strategy, executing merchandising and promotions, and partnering with suppliers to maximize market share.

Responsibilities include managing complex P&L, negotiating contracts, and coordinating cross-functional teams (Pricing, Promotion, Finance, Store Ops) to deliver superior customer experiences. Travel 20% anticipated.

Qualifications

• 5+ years category management experience with P&L ownership.
• Proven track record of influencing others with/without authority.
• Experience building high-performing teams and developing talent.
• Experience leading under pressure and adapting to changing dynamics.
• Experience negotiating with large CPG suppliers for mutual benefit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales and margin goals by capturing market share and managing the category P&L.
• Create planogram structures and manage in-store fixtures and cooler placements.
• Negotiate and manage supplier contracts across multiple partners.
• Lead vendor relationships to drive brand strategies and profitable assortments.
• Oversee DSD and DC partnerships and ensure in-store service levels.
• Collaborate with Field Merchandising and CVS Digital teams to execute plans.
• Develop category plans and promotional programs aligned with business goals.
• Mentor and develop Category Managers, Managers, and analysts.
