Job summary

Waterford Hotel Group in Flowood, MS is seeking a Beverage Attendant to join our Sheraton Flowood team. You will provide friendly beverage service, stock and organize bar areas, and ensure guests have a memorable dining experience in a fast-paced hotel setting.

Ideal candidates are guest-focused, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior hospitality experience is welcome but not required, and pre-employment screening will apply.

• Previous restaurant, bar, beverage, or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.
• Must meet all applicable age and certification requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Must be able to successfully complete required pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Greet and connect with guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
• Assist with the preparation and service of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with hotel standards and applicable laws.
• Answer guest questions regarding beverage selections, menu offerings, hotel services, and amenities.
• Take beverage orders and accurately enter orders into the POS system, as applicable.
• Assist bartenders and other Food & Beverage team members during busy service periods.
• Stock and replenish beverages, glassware, ice, garnishes, napkins, and other supplies throughout the shift.
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked bar and beverage service areas.
• Collect and remove used glassware and maintain cleanliness of tables and surrounding service areas.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and side-work duties.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
• Process guest payments and credit card transactions when required.
• Follow all hotel procedures regarding responsible alcohol service, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
• Work collaboratively with fellow team members and offer assistance when needed.
• Assist in other Food & Beverage areas as needed to support a smooth and efficient operation.

Beverage Attendant Overview:

The Beverage Attendant plays an important role in creating a welcoming and enjoyable experience for our guests at Sheraton Flowood.
