Job summary

Myers Emergency Power Systems LLC, a Bethlehem, PA-based designer and manufacturer of backup power solutions, seeks a Project Engineer - BESS to lead cross-functional engineering efforts from concept through production. You will manage Phase-Gate development, drive project cost and schedule targets, and work closely with Product Management and Supply Chain to refine requirements and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year of work experience as a Project Engineer or in BESS or similar field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Project (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead Phase-Gate Product Development process and schedule.
• Estimate resource needs, milestones, and costs; communicate to leadership.
• Collaborate with Product Management to refine requirements and status updates.
• Develop presentations and report project status to executives.
• Coordinate engineering tasks, testing, and vendor interactions across all development phases.
• Work with internal teams (Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Service) to achieve product objectives.
• Design and analyze DC/DC, AC/DC, and DC/AC conversions; schematic and PCB design.
