Job summary
ENGIE North America seeks a BESS Technical Advisor to support the Pre-Construction team in developing battery energy storage projects. You will coordinate with Development, Origination, Engineering, Execution and Procurement to lead technical and commercial aspects for multiple opportunities.
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science and at least 7 years in renewable energy focused on BESS, with experience in AutoCAD, Power BI, Procore and Salesforce.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science in relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in renewable energy with a focus on BESS projects.
- Understanding of BESS projects (components, IX, supply chain, EPC costs, operation).
- Ability to manage multiple workflows and deliverables independently.
- Proficiency with MS Office, Power BI, Procore, and CRM tools such as Salesforce.
- Experience using AutoCAD to direct internal resources for layouts.
- Experience presenting to customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop bespoke distributed BESS technical solutions.
- Support budgeting and EPC cost estimating for DG BESS projects.
- Support permitting and interconnection applications for BESS projects.
- Present technical and operational aspects to clients.
- Direct and supervise external consultants during early design phases.
