Job summary
ENGIE North America Inc. in Chicago, IL is seeking a BESS Technical Advisor to develop bespoke distributed battery energy storage solutions and lead technical and commercial aspects of projects in our Pre-Construction team.
The role requires a minimum of 7 years in renewable energy focused on BESS projects, with demonstrated ability to present to customers and stakeholders and manage multiple workflows. Hybrid work policy with weekly on-site attendance is offered.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in renewable energy with a focus on BESS projects.
- Experience presenting to customers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop bespoke distributed BESS technical solutions.
- Support budgeting and EPC cost estimating for DG BESS projects.
- Support technical aspects of permitting and interconnection applications for BESS projects in our development pipeline.
- Present technical and operational aspects of BESS projects to BTM and Utility clients.
- Direct and supervise external consultants for early-stage/conceptual design and internal engineering.
