Job summary
EnerSys is seeking a Motive Power Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Commercial Strategy Manager. You will identify, develop, and deploy tailored BESS strategies for industrial motive power markets, providing sales enablement, consulting, and technical leadership to drive adoption in distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and 3PL sectors.
This role blends technical acumen with consultative selling and project leadership to expand EnerSys’ market presence, deliver innovative BESS solutions,
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years in energy storage, renewable energy, or motive power systems preferred.
- Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical sales and project leadership.
Responsibilities
- Direct strategic initiatives to identify large‑scale BESS opportunities with ROI focus.
- Lead cross‑functional teams to ensure design, integration and delivery of solutions.
- Provide SME guidance and ROI modeling for field sales and service teams.
- Oversee energy audits, pilots, deployments and customization for ROI.
- Position EnerSys as an industry thought leader via engagements and forums.
- Monitor policy and market developments to inform strategy and proposals.
- Guide Specialists and Sales Engineers on BESS best practices.
- Partner with leadership to set growth goals and manage market expansion.
