Job summary

Kombo is hiring a Europe-based Pre-Sales Engineer to own the technical relationship from first sales call through successful implementation. You’ll design integration approaches, create architecture-sensitive proposals, and work with Sales and CRO to close deals.

You’ll build demo environments (Python/Node.js), write guides, and shape the European solutions team as we scale. This on-site Berlin role collaborates with Product/Engineering to deliver customer value.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with APIs — read documentation, write sample code, debug integrations.
• Track record working on complex deals with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills to whiteboard architecture and explain value to executives.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales cycle from discovery to go-live.
• Create technical proposals covering architecture, security, and integration approach.
• Partner with AEs to close complex deals with engineering and executives.
• Build repeatable playbooks and demos for European customers.
• Serve as the escalation point until customers are live and successful.
