Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation seeks an experienced Benefits Administrator to lead health, retirement, and other employee benefits. You will analyze plan data, ensure compliance across states, and coordinate with carriers, brokers, and TPAs.

You will also manage vendor relationships, drive enrollment communications, and oversee tuition assistance programs while utilizing HRIS systems to maintain data integrity and reporting. This role is based in Virginia with on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• 5+ years of progressive benefits administration experience in a complex org.
• Experience with health and welfare plans (medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, COBRA).
• Experience with HRIS/benefits systems like UKG/Workday.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and other benefits offerings.
• Analyze plan data to identify trends and cost efficiencies for Total Rewards strategy.
• Ensure HIPAA/ERISA/ACA/COBRA compliance and prepare audits.
• Manage vendor relationships with carriers, brokers, and TPAs.
• Lead benefits administration including tuition assistance and invoicing processes in UKG/Workday.
• Communicate benefits through education materials and trainings.
