Job summary

Colonial Williamsburg Foundation is seeking a Lead Benefits Administrator to manage health, retirement, and related programs. You will analyze data, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with vendors to deliver comprehensive benefits to a multi-state workforce.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of benefits administration experience, with strong Excel skills and proficiency in UKG/Workday.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years in employee benefits administration in a complex organization.
Experience with health, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life and disability benefits; COBRA knowledge.

Responsibilities

Oversee health and welfare plans, retirement plans, and other benefits offerings with accurate plan administration.
Analyze benchmark, utilization, and cost data to identify trends and cost efficiencies.
Ensure HIPAA, ERISA, ACA, DOL, IRS, and COBRA compliance; manage multi-state regulatory requirements.
Liaise with carriers, brokers, and TPAs to monitor service levels and resolve issues.
Lead benefits administration including tuition assistance, HRIS processes, and invoicing in UKG/Workday.
Prepare Benefits communications, training, and enrollment materials; support wellness programs.
