Job summary

Clario is seeking a Benefits Generalist to administer and optimize employee benefit programs across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans. You will manage enrollment, funding, deductions, and partnerships with providers, while assisting with regulatory reporting and audits.

You will analyze benefits data, prepare reports, and support budgeting and annual Open Enrollment, all while delivering excellent employee support in a remote/hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years administering employee benefits including health, welfare, and retirement plans.
• Experience with retirement plan administration and benefit‑related audits and recordkeepers.
• Knowledge of benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and tax-advantaged accounts.
• Proficiency with HRIS, benefits platforms, and Excel for reporting and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support employee benefit and retirement programs across medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and accounts.
• Manage enrollment, funding, deductions, and contributions with benefit providers.
• Review invoices, reconcile discrepancies, and coordinate with Payroll and Finance.
• Serve as primary resource for employee benefits inquiries and issue resolution.
• Coordinate with carriers, recordkeepers, vendors, and internal stakeholders on eligibility and enrollment.
• Support life events, enrollments, and retirement planning activities.
• Assist with benefits program enhancements and vendor performance management.
• Support compliance reporting, audits, and regulatory filings.
• Conduct audits of enrollments, eligibility, payroll interfaces, and data accuracy.
• Analyze benefits data, identify trends, and prepare reports and ad hoc analyses.
• Collaborate with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and cost monitoring.
• Support Open Enrollment activities, including testing, communications, and reporting.
• Participate in system improvements and benefits-related projects.
