Monin is seeking a Benefits Specialist in Clearwater, FL to administer health, welfare, retirement, and voluntary benefits, ensuring accurate information and timely assistance for employees and partners. You will manage enrollment, eligibility, and compliance, while coordinating with carriers and internal teams to maintain accurate HRIS data and streamlined processes.

The role requires 3–5 years in benefits administration, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Excel and HRIS systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Administer day-to-day employee benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, FSA, HRA, and voluntary benefits.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding benefits eligibility, enrollment, coverage, claims, and other benefit-related questions.
• Coordinate new-hire enrollment, qualifying life events, benefit changes, and terminations, ensuring transactions are processed accurately and timely.
• Educate new hires and employees on benefit programs and resources.
• Maintain accurate benefits information within the HRIS and benefits administration systems and coordinate with carriers and vendors to resolve eligibility and file-feed discrepancies.
• Reconcile carrier invoices, research and resolve discrepancies, and provide required supporting documentation for self-billed plans.
• Review benefits elections and payroll deductions for accuracy across HRIS, payroll, and carrier systems.
• Follow up on required FSA and HRA documentation and assist employees with outstanding documentation requests.
• Support annual Open Enrollment, including system setup and testing, employee communications, training, enrollment assistance, and post-enrollment audits.
• Assist with benefits compliance activities and required filings (Form 5500, CMS/Medicare reporting, notices).
• Maintain and organize benefits documentation (SPDs, plan materials, notices).
• Partner with carriers, brokers, vendors, Payroll, Finance, and HR colleagues to resolve issues.
• Assist with planning and coordination of wellness initiatives and benefits education programs.
• Participate in benefits audits and process improvements to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
