Talantir in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Benefits Specialist to manage day-to-day health and welfare benefits within HR, including eligibility, elections, life-event processing, and payroll deductions. The role emphasizes accuracy, regulatory compliance, and data integrity.

This position supports open enrollment, invoicing reconciliation, and ongoing process improvements within the benefits function, collaborating with employees, HR partners, and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of benefits administration experience.
• Experience reconciling benefit invoices and discrepancies.
• Working knowledge of ACA, HIPAA, ERISA, COBRA, IRS regulations.
• Proficiency in HRIS platforms and MS Office; able to handle confidential data.

Responsibilities

• Communicate benefits eligibility and ACA notifications timely.
• Administer benefit plans including enrollment and life-event changes.
• Reconcile invoices, reports, and vendor communications; ensure timely payments.
• Partner with Payroll to ensure accurate premium deductions.
• Prepare benefits data analytics and cost analyses.
• Support compliance with HIPAA, DOL, ERISA, IRS, and ACA.
• Serve as liaison between employees and health plan providers.
