Hilltop Residential seeks a Benefits Specialist to join our Human Resources team. You will administer benefits and leave programs and support employees across Hilltop's five-state footprint with meticulous attention to accuracy and confidentiality.

The role partners with the HR Manager on open enrollment, benefits communications, billing reconciliation, and payroll coordination. In Houston, you will contribute to a growing environment and employee experience.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of benefits administration or HR experience.
• Experience with open enrollment and leave administration preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with Paylocity HRIS or ability to learn quickly.

Responsabilités

• Administer benefits enrollment for new hires and process changes across Hilltop markets.
• Support HR Manager with the annual open enrollment process, including communications and auditing.
• Serve as liaison between employees and carriers for benefits and leave questions.
• Reconcile monthly benefits billing and flag discrepancies.
• Assist employees with 401(k) enrollment and liaise with the vendor.
• Manage tuition reimbursement program including eligibility and payroll coordination.
• Administer FMLA and state leaves across multiple states.
• Support PTO policy administration and respond to inquiries.
• Assist with ADA accommodations and the interactive process.
• Assist with workers' compensation claims and follow-ups.
• Ensure compliance with benefits and leave laws across Hilltop's footprint.
• Respond to inquiries about benefits and leave confidentially.
• Update HRIS with benefits and leave changes.
• Coordinate lease addendums per Rent Discount Program.
• Assist with employee recognition programs and annual events.
• Provide administrative support to HR and Recruiting teams.
