Job summary

Hilldrup is seeking a Benefits Manager to lead the administration and coordination of employee benefits programs. The role emphasizes compliance, education, and a positive employee experience through effective communication and support.

The candidate will manage enrollment, communications, and vendor relations, while supporting audits, budgeting, and renewals. A bachelor’s degree in HR or related field and 3–5 years of benefits experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• 3–5 years of benefits administration or HR experience.
• Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with ADP or similar HRIS systems.
• Professional certification (CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs.
• Support annual open enrollment and employee communications.
• Ensure accurate enrollment, changes, and terminations in benefits systems.
• Act as a point of contact for benefits vendors, brokers, and third-party admins.
• Assist in resolving employee issues with providers and escalates when necessary.
• Support benefits renewals and vendor evaluations and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations (ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
• Maintain plan documents, SPDs, and required notices.
• Assist with audits and required filings.
