Job summary

Unum is seeking a Sales Representative to contribute to sales targets by building relationships with brokers, financial planners, agents, and other professionals. You will represent Unum's full portfolio of employee benefits and drive profitable revenue growth through ethical practices.

The role emphasizes mastery of product knowledge, enrollment processes, and collaboration with Field and Home Office teams to support clients and prospects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Licensed to solicit insurance in states within assigned territory.
• Ability to articulate Unum’s value proposition related to employee benefits.
• Strong leadership presence with internal and external partners.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain and enhance producer relationships with brokers and other professionals.
• Achieve sales goals through consultation, negotiations and positioning of Unum offerings.
• Identify and procure new customer sales opportunities in partnership with brokers.
• Execute on annual renewal strategy to support office renewal goals.
• Represent Group, Dental/Vision and Voluntary products in the local market.
• Utilize enrollment processes and available resources to generate solutions for customers.
