Job summary

Unum seeks a Sales Consultant Associate to educated and motivate professionals to sell Unum products to clients in the small case market. You will build relationships with brokers, agents and consultants to advise and price employee benefits for employer clients.

You will participate in a development program with a mentor, group cohort, and product training, preparing you for sales leadership within the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to travel on a limited basis.

Responsibilities

• Learn Unum business environment to support acquisition and retention of new customers.
• Develop knowledge of Unum’s product portfolio and how to position solutions to brokers and clients.
• Build relationships with brokers in assigned territory.
• Assist in enrollment processes for new and existing customers.
• Prepare and present block reviews for top brokers.
